Must be capable of leading medium to large scale and complex programs that involve system design, integration, test, documentation and customer satisfaction support. Must have proven skills that are specified in the delivery order to be managed. Management experience should include oversight of budget, schedules, staffing and customer interfaces. Position requires good oral and written communication skills and the ability to conduct briefings and presentations.
Project Manager I

Specialized Experience:
At least four years of direct supervision of IT product software development, integration, test and maintenance projects. Prior experience with management of assigned delivery orders/projects that involve teams of information systems analysts and engineers responsible for designing, integrating, testing, and documenting IT software products. Demonstrates proven skills in those technical areas addressed by the delivery order to be managed. Position requires good oral and written communication skills and the ability to conduct briefings and presentations.
Subject Matter Expert
Education: B.A. or B.S. degree in related field. Master's degree may be substituted for two years experience. PhD may be substituted for five years experience.
General Experience:
Must have twelve years of technical or operations experience, including ten years of specialized experience.
Specialized Experience:
At least ten years of combined new and related older technical experience in the information technology field directly related to the required area of expertise. Capable of acting as technical lead/advisor for product/algorithm development.
Software Manager
Education:
B.A. or B.S. degree or equivalent experience in a related field. Master's degree may be substituted for two years experience. PhD may be substituted for five years experience.
General Experience:
Must have twelve years of programming experience in software development or maintenance, including eight years of specialized experience.
Specialized Experience:
At least eight years leading individual tasks for large scare software development efforts with three years direct supervision of information technology product development including product lifecycle management experience. Experience developing, maintaining and implementing Software Development Plans, Risk Reduction Plans and Software Project Management Plan. Experience as software lead in informal and formal software reviews and SCCB meetings. Management experience should include oversight of budgets, schedules, staffing and customer relations. Must possess excellent oral and written communication skills. Position requires the ability to conduct briefings and presentations.
Principal IT Architect/Engineer
Education: Master's degree in related field. PhD may be substituted for five years experience.
General Experience: Must have twelve years of technical or operations experience in information technology, including eight years of specialized experience.
Specialized Experience: At least eight years of information technology experience in the field directly related to the required area of expertise. Lead system design experience in large scale information technology development efforts. Prior experience leading hardware/software trade studies and directing technology insertion for IT systems. Experience performing systems planning, information planning, data modeling and analysis. Prior use and maintenance of CASE tools for process automation and managing software adherence. Capable of acting as technical lead/architect for large scale IT product development under the specified delivery order.

Prior use and maintenance of Computer-Aided Software Engineering (CASE) tools for process automation and managing software adherence. Capable of acting as technical lead/architect for small to medium scale IT product development under the specified delivery order.
Software Engineer/Analyst III
Education: B.A. or B.S. degree or equivalent experience in a related field. Master's degree may be substituted for two years experience. PhD may be substituted for five years experience.
General Experience: Must have five years of programming experience in software development, maintenance or testing, including three years of specialized experience.
Specialized Experience: At least three years of experience in information technology systems analysis and programming on large-scale complex systems, and ability to develop complex software to satisfy design objectives. Software Engineer/Analyst II

Education: B.A. or B.S. degree or equivalent experience in a related field. This position is for recent college graduate who has had extensive coursework in software programming. Years of experience may be substituted equally for years of education.
General Experience: Good computer programming skills and practices developed through education or experience.
Specialized Experience: None.
Senior Systems Engineer
Education: B.A. or B.S. degree or equivalent experience in a related field. Masters degree may be substituted for two years experience. PhD degree may be substituted for 5 years experience.
General Experience: Must have five years of experience in systems engineering, including three years of specialized experience.
Specialized Experience: At least three years experience performing systems engineering in a field related to the program with at least two years of supervisory experience. Experience solving analytical problems, developing algorithms, and designing systems related to program area of interest. Prior experience developing system requirements, system designs and providing staff supervision.
Systems Engineer
Education: B.A. or B.S. degree or equivalent experience in a related field. Years of experience may be substituted equally for years of education. Masters degree may be substituted for two years experience.
General Experience: Must have three years of systems experience, including two year of specialized experience.
Specialized Experience: At least two years of experience solving analytical problems and developing algorithms, for systems related to program area of interest. Prior experience developing system requirements, system designs and documentation.
